Hello everyone! I am a young lady with many au-pair friends in Oxford. I wanted to create this forum because I sadly see how many host families treat bad to my friends, force them to work on their free days, or force them to make heavy housework although it is not included to my friends’ contract! In short, some families turn into the evil mother and sisters of Cindrella, turning my friends’experience in UK into hell! That’s why Pairella is created.



So if you are an au-pair or a language school student staying with a family, and they are treating you bad, or they are exploiting you; please share here. It might not allowed here to directly share their names here because of the legal reasons, but if you share it like: “Spanish mother and German father living in Cowley Road, with two little daughters”, a new au pair would see the post and avoid choosing that family. So you can do a very big favour to another person, by preventing her/him to live the same bad experience you had. (and also a little revenge from the evil family, as you would make it difficult for them to find another victim after you leave =) )


You can use the titles opened for your city, or you can create and add a new one if your city is not included.
I wish this innocent ‘blacklist’ forum would be helpful.
